Ptyas korros - Indo-Chinese Ratsnake

3 Attachment(s)
Hey guys! My boyfriend and I just brought home an Indo-Chinese Ratsnake from an expo in New York. We managed to skim some information offline before we bought it (the boyfriend fell in love the second he saw it), but we didn't realize how little info was out there until we got home. Does anyone have any information on these guys? So far, we've gathered that it likes it humid, not super warm, and was being fed "live". We can only assume rats.

It's a good length, about four feet long, though with some obvious blemishes. I added a picture of the one we're most concerned about (a few others look like old cuts/broken scales). We don't actually know whether it was wild caught or captive bred. As said before, the SO is completely in love and wants to do the best he can by this guy. Any/all help is appreciated!

A warm 84-86F hide over the heatpad and cold 72-74F humid hide with sphagnum moss, uvb light is also good to use with large waterdish with forest floor substrate to keep humidity levels up. These are fast moving alert snakes and have great eye site if possible use a large semi arboreal glass enclosure, Since their also good climbers providing some branches with hides in the branches may replicate bird nests. There is a ptyas keepers group on fb maybe if you search ptyas korros in the group you can find some excellent ideas and information there as well.
