UVB lighting study

some of us have seen this, some have not. so i thought i would post it up for those that might need to know.
this study was done on all of the major brands of uvb lighting out there, coil and tube. what it boils down to is this (for those that dont want to read the whole thing) - the only acceptable uvb lighting out there that does not cause eye issues with herps is the ReptiSun 10.0 tube or the ReptiGlo 8.0 tubes. all of the others have been shown to put out harmful UVC rays at very high levels that can cause severe eye injuries, including blindness.
so if you are using anything but the 2 recommended bulbs, make sure to change them quickly!

Hello

Hello,

Yes, I started a thread on that months ago, actually. They are continuing the testing. The newest bulb that is being tested now is the Reptiglo 10 flourescent tube bulb & the Reptiglo 10 compact & coil bulb. They have been causing eye problems & a myriad of health problems as well.
