what do you mean by mole salamanders? i thought several species fall under this category?

Mole salamander is a term used to describe Ambystoma as a whole, but there is also a species within that genus that has the common name mole salamander. I'm not really sure if the genus was named after them, but I'm guessing so. Their species name is Ambystoma talpoideum
