While I don't know exactly how far it extends, one of the privileges of being a paying member is the ability to reply within classifieds threads. You do have the option of locking a thread before you post it, which would remove everyone's capacity to reply within the thread. Although, locking threads can be a bit of a double-edged sword. There may be a small percentage of people who are instantly skeptical of the intentions of someone who habitually posts locked ads.
