Genetic stripe/Phantom stripe genetics

I was looking into a breeding project with a genetic stripe bearded dragon and am confused. Is their a difference between a genetic stripe and phantom stripe? Also are they co dominate or recessive? I have not found much information about this morph and am curious. Thank you

Hi Kathryn,

Yes, there is a difference. Phantom Stripes are simply line bred visual stripes. The true genetic stripe is a dominant trait and creates a dragon with very distinct "stripes" down both sides of the spine. Pictured here is an example of a very colorful genetic stripe I produced this year from a very strong line of GS's imported into the US by Allgood Dragons.
