A Pair of Burmese Star available

4 Attachment(s)
Attachment 909844I have decided to part with a pair of G. Platynota, Burmese Stars. They are very nice, growing beautifully, very healthy. The bigger one, 5 inches, TSF, looks female to me, is from Dr. Rosenoff in NC and the smaller one, 4 1/4 inches, TSF too, is from Ken in NY. Sexing is temperature set and are not guaranteed. I keep too many different species for the limited space and willing to cut down some of them.

Asking $3000.00 plus shipping for the pair.

SHIPPING : We ship FedEx Priority/UPS overnight to anywhere in the continental US.

GUARANTEE : Live arrival is guaranteed on all Tortoises! If there is any issue with the shipment or the animals, I must be notified immediately upon the animals arrival(One hour after UPS deliver to you). There are no other guarantees/warranties expressed or implied once you have taken possession and confirmed the animal(s) live and safe arrival. I am not responsible for mechanical failures, weather, mishandling by the carrier, or carrier delays that could void the live arrival guarantee.

The one on the right looks very strange for a platynota. The shape of the carapace is more radiata looking and the plastron isn't correct for a pure platynota. The legs have dark markings too, which is odd.

It is a pure platynota. By consequence, its plastron is correct for a pure platynota. Simply individual variation. Before people started pushing for more yellow years ago, more variation was more frequently observable.

These BOTH are 110% Pure Burmese stars. Burmese vary ALOT in color. I have personally produced just a few over the last 14 plus years and I for one have produced some SUPER high yellow and some that were almost ALL black with little to no markings. Good luck in selling your Burmese Stars!!
