That is how the post office is where I am. They love to see my geckos when I go in to ship them, they are amazed by them...LOL! The last time I went in there I was only shipping a letter and they were bummed, they wanted to see another gecko...LOL

So far, I have only shipped through USPS a few times (I usually only ship through them if someone asks me to), but every time it has gone very smoothly. I think I will decide who I am going to ship through on a case by case basis. If UPS wants to charge $50 to ship a gecko and the post office will do it for $18.00 (and will garauntee overnight), I will go through the USPS. Something to think about

I have been estimating a certain shipment's cost about once a week for the past 5 weeks or so, waiting for the weather to be right, and it just keeps going up and up. Using same weight and dimensions it went from around $42 to around $65. (Unfortunately for me the shipping price is already agreed upon based on last years costs. oh well.)

As far as I can see, $65 is getting real close to Delta Dash money. One more price hike and UPS can go jump.
