Texas Indigo Laying

A friend's Texas Indigo laid eggs today, I believe there was 21, all of them were somewhat yellow, we assumed that it was the sphagnum not being fully washed. The female, who usually leaves the nesting box stayed this year, wrapped around the eggs, leaving a few not shaped quite right, a few of the eggs were sticking together, which is what some breeders use as a rule of thumb for fertility, I am still holding out hope for him that they are fertile, and do hatch, I will have a photo up in the next few hours. I was hoping anyone can drop some reassuring stories about their indigos, or some good tips on what to look for.

No reassuring stories here (no indigos) but would love to see the picture once you have it - good stuff!

The odd shapes and yellow color indicate likely some slugs in there, but hopefully some from the clutch are ok. Indigo eggs are not adhesive; they do not stick together.
