The reptile shows. There not very many reptiles to be found in the oregon winter.

If you come to Eugene area make sure you check out Fern Ridge walking path, garter snakes are everywhere. . (But not in winter)
I've also seen alligator lizards, western fence lizards, gopher snakes, and blue tailed skinks in Oregon. Depending what part of the state you go to, there's a few places near Medford (Table rock and Roxy Ann hill are good hiking areas)) and Grants Pass (Cathedral Hills is where I saw a lot of the skinks) I have yet to check out Portland area. I've seen them around in Southern Oregon, it was in Eagle Point. If you go look around by Rogue River they're around, just gotta turn over some logs and stuff. It's also a great place to lok for agates and jasper. This is one I caught in Eagle point by Dodge bridge... Sorry not the greatest pics
