It's an hour drive...in the next week or so...my phone is my camera...lol

I think I would prefer using a telephoto lens myself. :ack2:

Nests like this are nothing to get up close and personal with.

Of course I know this Rich...the nest I know of folds out of the west side of a semi occupied dorm type room...oddly enough thirty yards away on the south end of the house is a honey bee hive in the ceiling of a semi enclosed car port

The biggest one I have ever seen was on display at gatorland. Before the fire. I don't know if they still have it. You could push a button and it turned on a lazy susan turntable. Thing was enormous.
