1. How is his personality/temperament? (Skittish, defensive, etc.)

2. Approximate length?

3. #2 really asks this question, but did he feed consistently during his first winter?

Thanks

he is flighty but nothing abnormal for a young king. I have no idea of the length, i never measure nor I would know how to measure a snake lol. over a foot for sure. never missed a meal.

Thanks for your quick and to the point reply! He's one of better looking 'classic' banded Cals offered on this website. Would prefer a calmer snake (a few are calm or tame quickly even as babies) for a future breeder, but I may buy him anyway. I'll watch to see what turns up in the ads here this month, hopefully we'll have some moderate temps when snakes can be safely shipped.

he will calm down as he grow. Almost all young kings are flighty tbh. ok keep me posted. as long as temps are not above 90 or so it is safe to ship. I use reptile2you to ship and if necessary I use a cool pack in the shipping box. I have shipped many snakes before and all have always arrived in perfect condition. I will never ship one if the temps at departing location (in MD) transit hub and arrival location are not safe for the snake. Thanks.
