Restraint in snakes for folks who don't have an extra set of hands.
Here's a great tip to help with restraint if you don't have an extra hand around the house...
Your restraint device: A PVC pipe large enough to fit the upper half of your snake, but small enough so that your snake cannot turn it's head around. http://i567.photobucket.com/albums/s...0/0f67987c.jpg This makes it easy to do a multitude of different things to your animal without worrying about being bitten. Hope this helps some folks! |
Great post, but not advised for public forum consumption
Please do a personal liability disclosure ASAP! |
You can also purchase "snake tubes" for this same purpose, but generally are clear, so you can see the snake for any inside the tube assist feeding, medicating, ect. And come in assorted sizes. We have several sets at the shop, and come in very handy with assisting the young diamondbacks with getting them feeding. But whichever way you go, the overall idea is very handy!
