Temp question??

My female has laid two clutches with a total of 43 eggs, I have been incubating them at 84 degrees , I have lost 6 eggs so far, They were questionable from the beginning, I have read several different care sheets and articles on temps and it really varies from site to site. At what temp does everyone here go with?

We used to use 85-86 with very good results. I think a temp from 83-87 will be fine, the cooler the temp. the longer they generally take to hatch. Just as important as the temp. is to make sure the humidity is correct and the eggs are not subject to too much temp. fluctuation. Have you candled them to make sure they are fertile? Why were some of them questionable to begin with? You are probably doing everything correctly since you have done your "homework" it seems. Good luck!

When I candled them the ones that were questionable were yellow and the good ones were orange but I left them in there and they shrived up and were done.
Thank you for answering me ..

You should be able to see a "pinkish" color or even hair like red veins in the fertile ones.

The ones that had a yellow look I could not see any veins, but put them in there anyway. Thank you. :D
