I have noticed that the food problem might not be because of wc vs cb in copperheads. Alot of vipers feed off of movement and heat. Sometimes live is the only way. I have several waglers and white lip vipers that will only eat live, and they are CB. I have tried and tried with f/t or stunded mice, but they have to have it moving around before they will eat. This might be the case with your copperhead. Good luck with him.
