Cottonmouth or Copperhead

Crappy pic but looking for an ID. Seen on edge of pond in southern Mississippi. Looks like a cottonmouth but others say maybe copperhead. Looking for opinions. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d285080093.jpg

The lighting and angle make it difficult to see well, but it is definitely a cottonmouth. Note that the dark line through the eye of the OP's pic corresponds with the marks on the animal in the photo in your post. The body shape and body marks are also diagnostic.
