Does backyard herping count?
Here are some shots I got last week while in my back yard. I know it's just a run of the mill lizard, but if someone can tell me what they are, that would be great.

Kind of looks like a Bahaman Anole. Certainly some sort of anole, though. I dig their angry little throat.

Yeah, I wasn't quick enough, though, to catch him with it full blown!
|
Yep, that's a Brown Anole. And sure, backyard herping counts!
Here's a fuzzy one of a gorgeous Black Rat snake I found in my backyard. Happy backyard herping! :) |

Wish I could find a black rat in my yard! |
Heck yes it counts! Have fun!

I find black ratsnakes in my yard every year :hurray: There is an old live oak in the front yard that has been struck by lightning many moons ago and the black rats love laying their eggs inside the hollows. One year I may find a baby or two, if not I always find shed skins. Check out my photos, got a coupla pics of some BIG ones.

Of course backyards count!!!
I considered herping in my basement as counting a few months back :D |
:) Shine - what did you find, lucky girl?
|
And uh ... where did my photo go?
