Black Boas
 

Took a couple of pics tonight of my two blackest boas the larger one in the picture is my Hypo img “Medusa “and the smallest one is my male longicauda “Etso”
They are both the same age. Well with in a week of each other , they will be two next April , I think Medusa will be a big girl when she’s adult her mum was over 7ft

That look in longicauda may well be the most striking boa in existence. Gold/Silver on ink black. It's just gorgeous. Beautiful snakes, sir.

He is really nice and so tame too .
my female longicauda is really different from him , really silver on her sides but still black and gold on top and she is stupidly tame too .there parents are from Stöckl on Germany. They do some amazing pure locality boas.
shes loads bigger than him and there both the same age

Herman the German!!! LMAO! That guy has some serious screws loose. I remember him going on weird rants against "mutts" back when kingsnake.com's forums were really active and then saw him getting into all the leopard morphs, lol. I hadn't thought about him for a while. He did have some outstanding Longi's, though!

I’ve heard he’s a bIt strange , the parents was shipped in from him so I’ve never met him[emoji4]

Not sure he does any morphs any more , pretty much all locality stuff now

Beautiful, Richard! I love the darker snakes (never quite understood the albino attraction). These are so dramatic.

Thanks Helen, yes they are dramatic, I’ve got a couple of albinos and I really like them but I know what you mean about the dark ones , they should only get darker too as they both only 2 , the female longicauda is really Black on top too but her sides are getting more silvery white with age
