Thanks for sharing. Do you know what kind of snake the pictures are or? Black with white belly?

Those last three look like black rat snakes to me.

The first one is a massasauga (find them regularly, unfortunately most are dead, or dying, occasionally find some that are fine). The 2nd is a water snake (not sure of species, not that familiar with them, and the last one is a black rat that was fairly calm compared to most I run into. Only tried to bite me once.

The black rats look better than what I see for sure.

We have some beautiful black rats out here. I've considered collecting a few over the years, but never have gotten around to it.
