Love December in FL and so do the snakes! Found this nice red all coiled up in a discarded old piece of carpet. Looks like she just had a nice mid-winter snack! Whatever little warm-blooded fuzzy creature that was hanging out is no more. :eatsmiley Just goes to show FL snakes are active during these Mid-Winter warm spells. Happy New Years to all! mike |
I'm surprised that she isn't opaque. Old carpets are a great place to find snakes holed up to pass the time while in the vulnerable pre-shed opaque stage. :thumbsup:
