Snakes caught in Florida (dial up warning)

:) Hi all,

Just thought I would post a few pictures of a some snakes that my friend and I caught and/or photographed last year in Florida. :)
- All reptiles were released after being caught and/or breifly photographed.

Cottonmouth. (This snake was only photographed and was not caught.) Sorry about the awful/blury pic... :(

Everglades Rat Snake. This snake was found breeding (attempting to breed?) with the Yellow Rat Snake pictured below.

That Everglades Rat Snake look like a Everglades/yellow mix. Everglades Rat Snakes are not striped like that. It is very rare to find a plane Everglades any more mostly they are hybrid with the yellow.

you shoulda caught the cottonmouth...nothin like the rush of catching venomous snakes!

KingBowser 03-28-2008 01:19 AM

Nothing like the rush of getting bitten by a venomous snake, either. :)
