Snakes caught in Florida (dial up warning)
:) Hi all,
Just thought I would post a few pictures of a some snakes that my friend and I caught and/or photographed last year in Florida. :) - All reptiles were released after being caught and/or breifly photographed. Cottonmouth. (This snake was only photographed and was not caught.) Sorry about the awful/blury pic... :( http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...l/PICT1711.jpg Everglades Rat Snake. This snake was found breeding (attempting to breed?) with the Yellow Rat Snake pictured below. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...l/PICT1779.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...l/PICT1767.jpg Yellow Rat Snake. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...l/PICT1762.jpg Both Rat snakes together. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...l/PICT1747.jpg Thanks for looking. :) |
That Everglades Rat Snake look like a Everglades/yellow mix. Everglades Rat Snakes are not striped like that. It is very rare to find a plane Everglades any more mostly they are hybrid with the yellow.
