How can people keep an entire tree farm a secret?

I can see where in some foreign country out in the boonies there could be an opportunity to grow almost anything, but one would think that at a tree farm there would be people visiting and buying trees. Or something.
$5500 a pound????

I guess it wasn't a real tree farm, as in selling magnolia saplings to the public or open to the public, but just had the "appearance" of a tree farm to masquerade the real greenery that would have been for sale.

$5,500 per lb. was because it was hydroponic reefer - otherwise it might have been worth much, much less.
