I'm excited to be here😁

Ok where do I start lol My girlfriend and I started rescuing reptiles about 5 years ago. We had accumulated almost 400 amazing reptiles over the 5 years. I am retired and was putting my retirement into caring for all our rescues. Well as you can guess that costs a lot. So we started to buy and sell some reptiles to help raise money to care for Our rescues. Well we met a few reptile wholesalers along the way which really helped cause now we are able to offer amazing reptiles at affordable prices. We currently have 320 rescues and we keep on average 250 reptiles that we have for sale. I just feel un believably blessed to be able to care for all the rescues we have and to be able to share the amazing reptiles we have for sale to other people. Which brings me here to FaunaClassifieds. Hopefully I can sell some reptiles and get to meet some new reptile lovers. My website is kkreptilesandexotics.com if you'd like to check us out. Well this is me in. A nutshell thank you for reading and hope you have A blessed day😁😁😁

Keven, where do you get your rescues? I saw a picture of what appeared to be a veiled chameleon you had for sale yesterday, the ad is no longer up, are any of your rescues sold by you?

hotlips 04-08-2018 01:01 PM

Welcome Keven2. I've kept a number of mostly snakes for over 30 years, and took in rescues for over 20 of them, but I never sold any such animals. I sorta hate to say this, but to me, your operation sounds less like a rescue, and more like just "flipping" what comes your way. Pardon my cynicism, I hope I'm wrong but I've seen too much over the years. It's very hard to credibly do both on the scale you've indicated, even with help.

Keven, you characterized the chameleon as 'super healthy' but several people posted that it appeared to have MBD. Was it a rescue?

Keven2 04-08-2018 05:27 PM

The chameleon does not have mbd. It was in a bad situation but I paid 100.00 to get him out of the home he was in so I don't know if I would not classify him being a rescue. After doing research and taking him to a vet he is a different kind of Cham then a veil so he looks different. I need to. Free up some space and figured I could find him a new home and maybe recoup some money. He has had a fecal and look at by my vet and the vet said he is healthy as can be. When I got him they had him in a 5 gallon tank and that is why I paid 100.00 for him. I have since taken the ad down because I just don't have the energy right now to explain what's up with him. He eats like a pig drinks great acts great. I keep him and all my Chams in outside cages and I have just ran out of room. So I was just trying to recoup a little cash and find him a good home.

I can only go by what I see, he appeared to be a veiled and he did not look well.
