I picked up a trio of crested gecko's not to long ago to dink around with on the side. (and you have to admit they are pretty neat)  Anyway, I have them set up in a 40 breeder turned on end, but I'm discovering that the crickets can easily crawl through the gaps that are between the screen and the glass. (Don't worry, much too small for the geckos to crawl through.)  I was wondering if anyone had used the screen cages from

and if they did how did they like them?  This is a picture from their site of the cage I'm thinking about.  Thanks.

i have never used a screen Cage for cresteds, as long as you able to keep it humid enough i don't see any problem with keeping them in a screen cage

I agree with Chris.

I've never personally used a screen cage for the species (I have a plentiful and cheap supply of glass tanks... If they weren't free, I might use something else) but provided the humidity can be kept up... You might want to consider adding a cham drip system to help with that as well... Then there shouldn't be any problems. Just watch their noses if it's a ridgid screen, they do tend to crash into things when eating if the prey isn't directly in front of them.

Thanks, for the replys. &nbsp;I'll probably cover three sides with plastic. &nbsp;The setup I have now they try to climb the glass, but when I've just misted they come crashing back down to earth when their feet get wet. &nbsp;They never fall off the screen door of the cage so I thought a screen cage would save them some nasty falls. &nbsp;Shouldn't be too hard to keep the humidity up, I might even put a humidifier in that room near the cage.

Also if your going to use a screen cage, make sure the screen is fine enough so that te Substrate dosen't fall out.
My Crested Attackes his Prey items &nbsp;With a hell of a lot of force for a little gecko so just make sure it can't injure it self on the floor or sides of the cage.
