bump for a question....The herpstat pro does not come grounded? Would it pop an error/fail if I used it on a metal rack such as a freedom breeder?

I would recommend a HerpStat Grounded or HerpStat ND Grounded with a metal rack. The HerpStat Pro is not grounded. If you have a Pro already you can get a appliance grounding kit available form most electric supply companies and ground your rack directly to your house ground.
