Updated hurricane forecast for 2020
'Extremely active' hurricane season possible for Atlantic Basin
Things could get dicey with the CCP Virus floating around to complicate evacuation plans. |
Heads up:
Looks like Number 13 is not-so-lucky... Southern and western FL are going to take a hit no matter what, and where it actually lands, nobody knows...: https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/gra...?cone#contents |
Number 14 is also expected to become hurricane force and to land somewhat westward - TX and especially LA are likely to see a pretty heavy storm.

Luckily I placed another battery powered chainsaw on order last week. Might come in handy. I've got a couple of gas powered chainsaws laying around here somewhere, too, just in case. Just keeping our eyes on this one. The forecast is far enough out that anything is possible before it actually gets into our neighborhood. https://www.wunderground.com/hurrica...ssion-thirteen |

Like we don't have enough on our hands with Covid.

Looks like Louisiana is in for a tropical storm Tuesday and a hurricane Wednesday.

Ah, the reason I couldn't see TD Thirteen's track any longer was because it has been renamed to Tropical Storm Laura and evidently the people running the displays couldn't figure out how to tie the two together with the URL for their viewers. :face_palm_02:
Anyway, it seems to have moved it's track further west, now pointing to Mobile, Alabama. But I expect that will change too. |
