Materials for home built racks

I'm sure this has been posted before but I don't know how to go about looking through old posts. I want to look into building my own racks for sand boas and hognoses, what material is best and where can I get it? I've heard wood, pvc, and something called melamine.

All three materials can be used to make great enclosures and racks. Home depot would be a good box store to go look at materials as they carry all 3 options (melamine, plywood and pvc sheet). If you have someone with wood working experience it would be helpful if you can get them to help you cut the materials to the sizes you'll want. Since you're wanting to build a rack for small species you'll want to keep close tolerances. Of the 3 choices I'd go with PVC first, and melamine 2nd. Wood would be my third choice since it would require the most work. (Staining and sealing the wood).

Pvc board or Azac is the way to go.
Good luck in ur build.
