    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I don't even own a snake, but I opposed it. This is just like BSL for dogs. We can't let them bring this into the reptile community!

Come on People were is everyone. There are only 333 votes opposing this.
 
When I voted, to OPPOSE IT OF COURSE!!!, it said that 9 supported and 337 opposed. Rather than just HOPE that it stays that way, VOTE!!!! Oppose this law so we retain the right to keep our animals!!!!!!
 
For those of you with mailing lists on your sites, perhaps it might be a good idea to send out this link to all your registered e-mails. I received an email yesterday with this link, from a site who's mailing list I subscribed to. Had it not been for that email, I would be ignorant to this particular bill.

The following was also a part of that email, and I think its very helpful. By the way, said email was sent to me from Alex Barreiro from Boa Republic.

President Obama,
S373 aka the Python Ban is being considered in the Senate right now. It will destroy thousands of jobs and bankrupt thousands of American families. The bill has been sensationalized and politicized and has no basis in real science. In fact a report generated by USGS to justify this bill has been called unscientific by an independent panel of scientists. It is being pushed by powerful special interest groups and it will hurt me financially. It is a confiscation of my personal property rights and will not solve the problems proponents claim it addresses. This is clearly a situation that has become politically driven and ignores science that does not support S373. Please do not allow politics to trump good science and sound policy. This is wrong and you promised in your election campaign not to allow situations like this to occur. Please stop S373.

Yeah, I LOVE that many insurance companies won't insure us (home insurance) because of my dog breed.. but that's a rant for another time.
