I don't have bull snakes, but I do feed week-old chickens to my snakes. Whole birds are probably better than just muscle or organ meat, but I do supplement with frozen/ thawed chicken wings sometimes.

I think I might be in your situation at the moment: one of my Fiji Boas, Samael (1.8m 2.5 kg not sure how old but I've had him for over 10 years), has two hard lumps in his gut, about 8 scales above...

It sounds like this is just the one eye, correct? if so, I agree she may be blind in that eye, but I've had a one-eyed snake before and it's not a major handicap for them.
