Talking Renting an apartment w/ snakes as pets

Hello all,
I'll be moving to the Tampa, Florida area soon. I have put an add up on CL a few times advertising that I'm looking for a room to rent but I get a lot of replies telling me that someone would rent to me but they are terrified of snakes etc..... I have a Ball Python and a Corn snake. I find this amusing b/c a dog will bark and keep everyone awake and tear up the house. A cat will also tear up the house and pee on everything. My snakes will do none of these things but snakes are not a socially accepted pet like dogs and cats are. As usual you can't apply basic math to the situation it's the usual mix of politics and Religion. Anyway has anyone on here found an easy approach method for renting a place when you have snakes? Someone once told me to apply and say that you have Aquarium Pets which technically they are. Anyway what are some approaches some of you have used when trying to find an apartment to rent and dealing with the general public's fear of snakes? Have a good one guys/gals.
