yes you will need to tube the meds, not just put them in the mouth. I made a youtube vid of me tubing one of my boas that is sick, here you go:

The tube I use with a feeding syringe is also what they use for baby enemas, (my vet said) so check that out as well. similar to this pic but your vet should have them regardless
