I know that you know this (because you implied you did in your post), but it seems to me that five eggs just isn't enough of a test field to be sure about anything concerning the genetics of either of your animals, let alone the one from Michael Ogburn. I don't know either of you, but I would think that you would refrain from mentioning the guy's name until you were sure that he either had or had not lived up to his end of the bargain.
Even if the statistical average held true for each and every clutch (we all know it doesn't), you still would have only been looking for one or MAYBE two eggs hatch out as albinos out of a clutch of five eggs. Since it is entirely possible that you have two hets there and you were just a bit unlucky this time around, I certainly would not have mentioned the guy's name on this board at this time. If you are not making any accusations against him, why mention his name (especially in opposition to the unnamed "major breeder")? If you are making an accusation, surely you have to realize that you need more evidence than one clutch of five babies to say the guy lied to you/ripped you off.
Am I completely off base here?
