In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

2012 King and Milk Pairings

I am pretty excited about this pairing. Last year I paired with a young buckskin male. The eggs were not fertile. I paired her with another male this season. Hopefully this will be my first season producing Thayeri!

(as usual, sorry for the cell phone photo)

Any luck with the fla x easterns (what were they?) Also what's the story on the ghost and or whiteside flas? BTW, my pair are looking awesome, male is gonna be impressive.

I do have eggs from this pairing. I used a different male this year, who isnt het for hypo, only the female is. It will be adding a little more Eastern influence to this clutch.

Also what's the story on the ghost and or whiteside flas?

I have eggs from both pairings. The first clutch is from a double het pairing, anery and hypo. The W.S. Axanthics should be nice as well.

Lets see the male

Well that's good news on the eggs from so many of your breedings. Definitely keep us/this thread up-to-date as to the outcome of all these breedings and eggs. Anxiously awaiting pics of the hatchlings from all of them especially the fl/easterns.

I'll post pics of my pair monday night...They just ate big meals (don't want to disturb them) and im headed to the beach.

I'm also anxious to see the outcomes of the ghost and whiteside FL pairings. Should be interesting.

This is a first for me, I know its happened plenty of times, just not for me in the 6 yrs I have been working with colubrids.

This is my Axanthic het White Side Fla King, bred to my White Side Axan male. I bred them back in Feb and she laid her clutch. I never intoduced them again after she laid her clutch. I went to change her water today and she was laying a 2nd clutch.

I expect them to start this week. I have been checking them daily. I will go through them all tonight and make me a rough schedule of when I think they should start.

I went through the eggs and got rid of the suspect eggs. I have about 10 more females subject to drop eggs soon. It is going to be a pretty good year after all.

Wow that's a lot of eggs! Those babies are gonna eat you out of house and home lol jk.

When you say suspect eggs, do you mean eggs that have no chance of making it or eggs that have a 50/50 chance of making it? Have you ever tried keeping a couple of the better looking suspect eggs in a separate incubator to see if the neonates hatch from them?

Thanks for sharing the pics.
