It would be great if the two of you could work out a way to resolve this. Maybe part of the money, with the rest on receipt? I guess the only real leverage is that if Kameron keeps the iguana and all the money, he is going to prove himself a bad guy.

The part of the money approach was already tried. Kameron kept the money and refused to send the animal back. I very much doubt he would honor any agreements made here, after he's also already made the statement about keeping the animal and the funds (through a CC charge-back).
