Leaf Insect Eggs/Ova

Selling Leaf Insect Eggs
(Phyllium philippinicum)

I have some fertilized (male-female) and some unfertilized (all female).

It's pretty easy to feed them, they do extremely well on wild collected Rubus sp. (Brambles; Raspberry, Blackberry), Rosa sp. (Roses), Gaultheria shallon (Salal), and a couple other things (recommended to keep them on one of those, though). Wash the leaves and place them in water bottles around the enclosure, or all in the center.

All leaf insects can reproduce asexually, meaning without a mate, but this will result in all-female hatch rates. They lay an average of three eggs a day after about two weeks after the adult molt, and will continue this until they die, about 6-7months after becoming an adult.
Males are capable of flight and are pretty damn good at it.

$1.50/egg fertilized
$1/egg unfertilized.

PM for shipping estimates.

Fertilized eggs will hatch anywhere from September-February, so having a method of feeding new hatchlings is recommended, whether it be freezing a stock, buying salal (most is without insecticides, used for floral arrangements, and is considered a weed in the PNW), or having a greenhouse if you don't live in a warmer climate.

If you have any other questions feel free to PM me.
