the recognized world record, for any venomous snake weight, is 28 pounds for an eastern diamondback. the biggest i have ever worked with is a timber rattlesnake that is on display at the Chattanooga nature center. she was a little over 10 pounds. (pictures available at
www.ChuckHurd.com) the largest in my personal collection is a canebrake rattlesnake. she is a fresh w/c from sc and a little over 7 pounds. i am sure i could push her past 10 easily with over feeding. hope this helps.
