I have been looking into the transmission of cryptosporidium in water and I am finding out that yes it is a possibility to be transmitted to humans and animals via water supplies. Even with the best techniques that are followed, the cryptosporidium oocysts can occur and pop up in water supplies. 65-97% of surface water contain cryptosporidium oocysts. Filtered water, boiled water, reverse osmosis water, distilled water, uv systems, clean hands, and clean food help to prevent the transmission of cryptosporidium cysts in water. I have several pet birds, and we are very careful with the water we use, the cleanliness of the cages, and the food. I really liked your two writeups, they were very good, and helpful. Thanks.
