Some dog breeds (pit bulls) are restricted in certain states and its the rescues responsibility to ensure this doesnt happen. I do not agree with what happened to you and the rescue with the border collie but these standards are set for a reason. I work a veterinarians office and yes i do believe that some vaccines are suited best for some clients only, but that doesnt mean rabies, feline/canine distemper vaccines shouldnt be!
