Last vacation my wife talked me into we got about 30 miles from house and sat 3 hours in a traffic jam. I said, Oh yeah, this is fun and relaxing.....
Got a motel way before we planned on it because of traffic jam. Some college was celebrating a level 3 football victory at the motel. Yeah more fun and relaxing.
Get to our destination and wife's drunken cousin who she hasn't seen since Christ was a teenager decides I'm not good enough for his cousin. I try and beg off. No good. He slaps me. I beat the holy hell out of him and probably would have had a murder charge if 30 other people were not there to pull me off of him. Yeah fun and relaxing. Well beating the hell out of him was kinda fun.
That was 8 years ago. My vacations now usually consist of cleaning basement or yard or painting a room. Not exciting but I feel I accomplished something and I'm not in prison.
