I find black ratsnakes in my yard every year
There is an old live oak in the front yard that has been struck by lightning many moons ago and the black rats love laying their eggs inside the hollows. One year I may find a baby or two, if not I always find shed skins. Check out my photos, got a coupla pics of some BIG ones.
