Enclosure Senario - Russian Tortoise
Location - Atlanta, Ga
Temps Winter - Lows 20F (rare)
Summer - 50 to 92F (Spring to Early Fall)
Pen - 15' x 15'
Accessories and Plants: Normal
I would like to keep outside all year round (I have a very large enclosure inside for them now. They spend summers outside, indoors for winter.). If I dig a den approximately 4 ft down (diagonal entrance out with door, will the temps be good enough for hibernation without harming them?
