The length of the tail and the bulge just after the vent look exactly like my wife's male cali's. A fairly non-intrusive way to tell would be to try and palpate. This is how I confirmed both of my wife's kings were male once they were about 6 months old.

It's not quite as easy to tell as it is with my boas, but you can still feel the ends of the hemipenes in their tail once they get to about 18" in size (or earlier if you're better at it than me). I was actually hoping the one I posted pics of in my earlier thread was a female when we got him. I don't like trying to probe or pop such small hatchlings though, and at their initial size they're too small for me to reliably feel the hemipenes in the tail.
