Signature updates should automatically replace whatever was there before, so all you have to do is look at any of your existing posts (not that there is a problem with posting in the test area, of course).
Jeff and Christina - just to let you know...if you opt to post on the BOI, you will have to enter a signature to indicate which of you is posting (or state that someplace in the body of the post).
