1-10? I would rate it much higher because that snake has been known to cause fatalities. The mother wrote to you saying he was free handling and kissing a venomous snake, let alone an Atheris species. Any Atheris keeper would agree that you cannot free handle, let alone kiss a snake like that. I would ask his attorney to see how the doctor's handled this case because there is no specific Antivenin for Atheris species. Only Echis AV has been known to even neutralize it. You did cover your part on the deal. This whole thing sounds a bit fishy. I hope everything ends well for you.
