Ok so it was a no go on the rat pup. I tried enticing him with it as well as just leaving it in overnight with the enclosure covered. I was talking to the store owner the other day and he had the male and female in the same enclosure and thinks the male might still be in breeding mode? I know females will stop eating once gravid but do males stop eating when they think it’s breeding season? He has also been on his own for over a month now, I would think that he would be out of that mind frame.
