there are jacksons in San Diego. There are a few populations around, not too many. People do indeed go out and collect from those populations. Like a good herping spot though people are pretty protective of these small populations. I know of a person that sometimes sells jacksons that they collect. Cool lizards to find and in the most unlikely of places.
