I highly recommend Rodney Boalich out of Clearfield, PA. He is an extreme retic locale breeder and very knowledgeable. A good guy to deal with. He breeds true SD retics. I got a wonderful male Selayer Island retic form him 5 years ago that is a joy to keep. The Selayer retics are beautiful and have very calm temperaments usually. They are a dwarf and don't get all that much larger than the SD but with much calmer dispositions and tend not to be flighty. You can contact him at
