Thanks for the heads up; I sent in my comments in opposition of this partnership between GM and HSUS. I made sure to point out that my consumption of GM products would cease if their support of HSUS did no cease.

One note, someone added a post saying that it was good of you to warn us about this and that HUMANE SOCIETIES (in general as I understood the reply) were anti pet owners. That in essence is not usually correct in my experience. Humand Societies are usually pro pet owner, and usually run animal shelters where they offer pets for adoption. It is THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF THE UNITED STATES, aka HUMANE SOCIETY OF THE US, aka: HSUS that is adamantly opposed to pet ownership from what others have told me and from what I have read about them. Please don't confuse the HSUS with your local Humane Society - they are usually on different tracks all together.
