You've got to be kidding. That is, by far, one of the weakest excuses I've ever read.

Let's see, I'm currently down to only 65 snakes, am a full-time student with a double major in biology and criminal justice, and have a total of three jobs- including military & law enforcement. In addition, I spend a lot of time abroad. Oddly enough, I don't seem to have any of the ethical problems that seem to be afflicting you (honesty, etc).
