We have to agree with the good guy posts here concerning Jeff. We've purchased from and sold several boas to him and every animal we've recieved has been top shelf. And although we use Visions for our primary habitats, we have also incorporated Boaphile Plastics sweater and shoe box racks into our primary snake room for neonates. The following is a short synopsis of the kind of customer service we have gotten at the hands of the Boaphile.

Last year around this time, we were blessed with a half dozen GTPs, 20 plus Cancun boas, 35 amarali from 2 litters and a small litter of Surinams all deposited or hatched within 2 weeks. Realizing our current neo racks were unable to handle our surplus and with Rubbermaids stacked precariously, we turned to Jeff for help. After explaining our situation via email we agreed a shoebox rack would help short term with a sweater box rack soon to follow. Arrangements were made and we were promised delivery within 10 days.

As first sheds started and communal housing became inappropriate, we anxiously watched for delivery. Imagine our horror when we finally recieved delivery only to notice the entire end of the shipping box was crushed. Fearing the worst, we opened the crate to find our new rack basically destroyed on one end with Phillips box pieces everywhere.

We snapped digitals, emailed Jeff and dismally outlined the scenario while making phone calls to several local folks in search of temporary housing with no luck. We didn't hear back from Jeff that PM, but with his normal timeline on fabrication, we weren't expecting miracles.

The following morning the phone rings. Its a well known breeder/broker from Gainesville explaining she has 3 Boaphile shoebox racks that have just arrived and really only needs 2 for immediate use. She goes on to arrange a meeting place, personally delivers our rack and saves the day!!!

How, you might ask, did this stranger appear from nowhere to save our bacon? Upon reciept of the email outlining our shipping damage, Jeff spent the evening tracking down this breeder, explaining our problem and arranging for our immediate replacement and the eventual replacement of this breeders rack. All this was done out of state, long distance and for people he has never met personally and probably out of his own pocket since shipping claims seem to straggle along at a snails pace.

This kind of customer service is well past anyones expectations and is in sharp contrast to another thread currently occupying space on this board. With his longjevity and presence in the market, we're certain Jeff and his various enterprises will remain a viable part of the boa community for years to come.
