Very nice! I've used carpet for some snakes in the past and it worked well. I'm currently using sani-chips with my couperi.
I have this crazy dream of doing a bioactive setup for my boy, as his adult enclosure. I understand the difficulties. I have some limited experience with bioactive and smaller snakes. I THINK it can be done. Plus, I don't have a huge collection to maintain. So, it would get pretty much all my attention.
